COVID-19 Reopening Protocol
As the curve flattens, and we begin to emerge, Chaya wanted to share with you her current office protocols for our gentle re-opening. Please do not hesitate to call, text, or email with any questions.
Please wait in your car until the appointment time begins. This allows Chaya time to clean and sanitize the space between clients and to minimize interaction between clients in the waiting room. Upon arrival clients will be asked to wash or sanitize their hands.
We use a Covid-19 certified spray cleaner for all surfaces touched by a patient/client during the course of a session. Each piece of equipment/furniture made contact with is to be sanitized between sessions. All linens used during a session must be changed, washed, and sanitized prior to reuse. Because of this, we will remove the table warmer and the blanket from the table. Feel free to bring a blanket if you would like.
It is required that client and practitioner wear a mask. It can be cloth or disposable. I will have cloth available for sale. The sale proceeds will go towards the Brooklyn Bailout fund, to secure freedom to immigrants in ICE detention centers. Chaya may shift to donating to different organizations over time, all related to BLACK LIVES MATTER.
If you cannot afford a mask, reach out and let Chaya know. We have chosen not to purchase disposable masks due to environmental impact and have chosen to purchase organic bamboo masks from a local grassroots company in Maine to support the economy of the people.
If wearing a covering over your mouth and nose brings up unmanageable anxiety, please reach out and we will make accommodations together.
Both client and practitioner will practice handwashing hygiene. Client will be invited to wash or sanitize hands upon arrival, and practitioner will wash hands before and after each client. Handwashing should last as long as it takes to sing Happy Birthday!
Clients/patients are asked to cancel if they personally have or have exposure to anyone with any flu like symptoms including but not limited to:
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Muscle pain
- Sore throat
- New loss of taste or smell
Chaya reserves the right to cancel any session should a client demonstrate any of these symptoms.
Scheduling of Clients
Clients are to be scheduled with minimum 30 minute breaks between start times to allow staff time to clean while also minimizing client interaction. Individual therapists in the office suite should keep at least 15 minute breaks between the end of one session and the start of another. In the possibility that multiple therapists are working with clients at the same time, clients should remain in separate rooms behind closed doors.
Forms of payment Your Sacred Pelvis is accepting at this time:
You can pay ahead of time at:
Paypal: email@example.com (Please choose friends and family option)
You can also pay with cash or check at the time of your session.
Each of the practitioners in my suite operates as separate business entities. Because we share a waiting room, we are in agreement about office policies and have adjusted our schedules to accommodate the proper spacing between patients in the waiting room.
There may be revisions of this document as new local, state and federal guidelines become available.
